STIL intensifies its distributor's network in Europe and in the US
STIL during last summer clinched several new deals in distribution with the American company ACUITY, subsidiary of the group SCHMITT INDUSTRIES Inc (Nasdaq:SMIT) for the distribution of its sensors and non contact measurement system over the Atlantic Ocean.
STIL's products will complete the laser sensors range developed and distribued by ACUITY, responding to the demanding application in term of precision.
ACUITY joins NANOVEA and OPTIPRO, the two others representative int he US.
In Europe, the whole part of STIL's products is from then on distributed in Austria through the company MS ELECTRONIK which is the 1st representative of our label in this geographic zone.
Mr. Manfred SCHILLING, leader of the company is in charge since May of the prospection and the commercial support of our Austrian customers.

Improved performance of CCS-PRIMA sensor with a new firmware version (version 1.3.1)
A new release of CCS-PRIMA sensor firmware is available now.
The new firmware version (1.3.1) introduces 2 significant improvements in the performances of the sensor:
In situation of optimal configuration, the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) can require a numerical resolution better than 15 bits. The new version allows to take full advantage of such situations.

The new firmware is available upon demand to your distributor; it may be loaded into previously-purchased CCS Prima sensors using the “CCS Manager” software. Please use the last version of this software (1.2.8) for this operation.
The new firmware is compatible with CCS Prima controllers as well as with CCS Prima2 and CCS Prima4 multiplex
New CCS Prima2 sensor available
Following the path of the recent CCS Prima4, the flagship product of STIL’s CCS “point” sensors range, the CCS-PRIMA, is from now on available in a 2 multiplexed channels version under the name of CCS Prima2. This innovative technology allows the user to instantaneously commute from a measurement performed with one optical pen to another measurement, without any manual operation. The CCS Prima2 can run up to two input pens, which allows the user to enjoy both a multiple measurement range and/or multipoints measurements on one sample with a single controller, thanks to a fast commutation.
New 2010 e-catalogue now available
We are very happy to inform you that STIL’s updated 2010 international e-catalog is now available online. Our e-catalog is totally interactive and still very pleasant to use, thanks to the integrated search engine.
