New REFLET and DIAMOND version

with upgraded illumination module



The REFLET Goniophotometers for measuring BRDF/BTDF, commercialized since 1996, have found many applications in printing, paints, car, ophthalmic optics, cosmetics and food industries. The newer DIAMOND goniophotometer, with specially designed optics allowing measurement of highly specular surfaces, is a unique tool for characterizing polished and superpoli samples in space and semiconductor industries.

REFLET-180 STIL new optical bench with 180° angular range

The two instruments feature a high-resolution motorized illumination module which projects on the sample surface a beam with controlled incidence angle, spot size and angular spread. This module has been recently redesigned with two aims:
  • The angular extent has been doubled from 0°-90° (Reflectance measurement only) to 0°-180° (Reflectance and Transmittance). The new module can be used for measuring both BRDF and BTDF at any desired illumination angle.

  • Improved stability and positioning precision

The upgraded versions of REFLET and DIAMOND, with a new, more flexible and more friendly software version, are immediately available.
