The RUBY spectrocolorimeter

STIL is proud to announce the RUBY, a new contactless spectrocolorimeter, developed in collaboration with the Restoration Research Center of French Museums. The instrument consists of a controller and a small optical head connected by fiber optic. It comprises an internal light source and is capable of stand-alone operation.

This capability, as well as the high measuring rate (up to 2000 spectrum/s) and the easy setup make the RUBY a powerful tool for industrial applications such as quality control on production line.

Research-lab users will appreciate the adjustable spot size of the RUBY and the monitoring software, offering an exhaustive list of normalization standards. The ergonomic grip allows measuring fragile or large samples without having to move them.
