Optical Pens

A confocal optical pen is a chromatic lens connected to the controller by an optical fiber. Optical pens are entirely passive and interchangeable on a same controller. STIL proposes two kinds of confocal optical pens:

Monobloc optical pens :

Measuring ranges from 20 µm to 24 mm.

Modular optical pens :

Consist of a magnifier (achromatic collimator) and a chromatic lens.
Measuring ranges from 100 µm to 24 mm.
