STIL’s principal force resides in its capacity to meet the needs for
both research laboratories and industrials in search of an equipment
allowing characterization or on-line control of their products. STIL proposes
its skills and its technical know how to create new products or adapt existing
equipments to customer needs.
Examples of dedicated equipments realized by STIL :
- A system for measuring the thickness of Molybdenum filaments including 2 CHR150
sensors facing each other (differential measurement),
- A four channels CHR150 sensor for measuring glass bulb thickness on production line,
- A portable system for metal sheet defects characterization on production line,
- A vision system to detect glass defects on glass parts on production line,
- A dedicated 3D measuring system with complementary motion axes,
- Development of specific optical pens,
- A system for controlling superpoli conical mirrors for NASA "Consellation X" X-ray telescope,
- A system for controlling uranium fuel rods for the CEA (French Agency for Nuclear Energy).
